Shall I attempt a comeback?

After a near 2-year hiatus, I finally revisited my Xanga blog last night. I can't believe the last time I posted an entry here was when I was on the verge of my Freshman Fifteen.. aka when I was in the states, the land of eat all you can buffets.

After rereading random entries from the past, I suddenly felt nostalgic. I started to miss many things. My high school friends. The ties that were once so tight but are now, and maybe permanently, undone. The innocence and free-spiritedness of high school days make me long for the olden days, the glory days to return. Where did all the people go? Where did I go? I used to refer to these people as my partners-in-crime.. BFFs ( ok maybe not to that extent). I know that high school is just a rite of passage and it's normal to let go of your friends and move on to the more sophisticated social groups which you'll find in college, but... argh I just miss people.

As embarrassed as I am to say it, I miss my province. Don't get me wrong, Manila life certainly fulfills the wants/needs that I craved for back when I was still the spoiled, egocentric adolescent who stepped out of a plane filled with disdain and bitterness some four years ago. But I do have to agree with the fact that living in the province did me a lot of good. I may certainly not be the person I am today if it weren't for my short stay in the city of Angels (errr...) Why am I randomly mentioning all this? I think I need a break. Right now I feel like one of those oh-too-excited-not-thinking-enough kids who jumps into the fastest and scariest-looking roller coaster she could find and who later find herself yelling, screaming and yet going on with the ride with her eyes closed because she has no other choice. I need time to think. Do I really want to keep on doing this? The ride is ending soon, and I'm pretty sure that I'm just going to throw up and faint once I get there.

It's just too bad that some of the people I most want to see won't be able to make it.

uhh.. where am i now? oh i'm in Michigan.. Grand Rapids.. dang i havent been updating lately.. not that it matters since no one reads this... anyways,

after NY, we went back to boston.. stayed there for umm 3 nights i think.. first two nights in hotel once again.. we went on a duck tour! haha it was funny.. yelling "quack quack" every 5 minutes.. my family got to hang out with my brother's gf and her family.. they're really great.. it's so funny now cuz my relatives are saying that my bro should get married now so that he'll get his citizenship faster.. oie.. haha what else did i do in boston.. i really wanted to get a Red Sox jersey but then my mom was all "NO!" which sorta made me all depressed for a while.. i got a laptop bag, a track suit, and... yah thats' pretty much it.. even tho we didnt do anything very exciting in boston, i really like the place.. i like it way better than NY thats for sure...

so umm now yes i'm in michigan.. what have i been doing here.. well, i've been doing some bonding with my lil cousins here,, i started playing DDR again.. its been AGES since i played that game and i so lost the hang of it.. oh well.. i'm playing eye toy as well.. I finished a 750 pcs puzzle in 3 days and i finished "Call of Duty 2" on Xbox 360 as well.. haha i finished reading a book..for the past 2 days we've been going shopping.. haha yesterday i spent like 200 or 300 bucks on clothes... just for me.. lol while i was fitting some clothes i noticed how enormously fat i've got in the past few weeks.. i mean i looked at clothes which would have fit me easily if i tried them on when i first got to the states.. then when i tried them on yesterday, they were all tight and fit.. argh.. depression.. when i get back to the PI, i am so going on a 2 weeks work out .. i'm going to move in my aunt's place who lives in a subdivision (so i can go jogging) and she has a pool (swimming and tanning everyday) and hopefully i wont eat too much there...

i changed state again!!!

well after my short stay in frisco, i went back to union city for a day or so then i went to vegas... now vegas was NIIIIICE..... I stayed at caesar's palace.. which i was extremely sad to part with at the end of our stay... they had a really nice bathroom.. and room.. and plasma screens.. and beds.. haha we reserved for two rooms.. and wen we went to check in the dude was looking all worried at his screen and so my cousin asked if something was wrong... then he said "sorry but it appears that there was a problem with your reservations.. the room assignments were a bit messed up.." then we started to panic .. then he said "since there arent 2 rooms near each other in the section you reserved for.. we'll just upgrade you so that u'll be more comfortable and be able to be on the same floor.. and we're just all like "oh... ok.. sure!no problem.. et voila!!!

ok so vegas.. went to a lot of hotels and restaurants... oh my gosh... i ammm soooo SICK of buffets!!! i dont EVER want to go to an other buffet during my stay here in the states.. i swear i think i've gained like 5 to 10 lbs just with my stay in vegas...argh!!! i'm about to fall in a very deep depression over my gain in weight.. hahaha anyways

went back to union city for a few days.. then we left for BOSTON.. took the plane.. 5 hours flight.. which was a but delayed but no big.. they showed Narnia on the plane.. which made it like the fourth time i watched the film... lol sick of that too.. stayed in boston overnight.. oh and we went to chinatown for our dinner there.. it was pretty good.. i love roast duck.. haha ok so anyways.. after the night there.. we took a bus to New York.. we being: my parents, my bro and myself.. btw, here's the laptop my bro gave me: it's a Dell XPS M140.. very cool...

ok back to story-telling.. so yes now we're in NY.. been on a hop-on/hop-off tour.. very interesting.. our tour guide was fun and cool.. apart from that what have i been doing.. hmm shopping.. clothes expensive so i wait for michigan where it's tax-free and like outlet-land...

so right now, i'm in our hotel room.. i love hotels here.. they all have wireless connection for guests...ok that's all for now... i'll post again when i have something new to say ok? buh bye!!! take care all!!!

hello again from FRISCO =)

haha yep yep been in the city since last night.. i'm staying with my kuya ken (cousin) til like 2moro or sumthing.. today he brought his sister and her husband touring around the city and they made me tag along.. thankfully, the weather was GREAT.. not a single drop of rain.. so yeah very cool... i love the bay area.. i would've loved growing up near the bay, wharf..  u know, if i get probz, i'd just go running to the pier n just meditate n all.. n everyone JOGS there.. i mean.. i could've stayed fit if i stayed here.. hmmmm... the mountain view and all are great... i'm REALLY thinking into moving here in a like a year.. i found out that there are a lot of jesuit universities (like the University of San Francisco) and it would be a great deal easy-ish to transfer here from ADMU.. n i wont mind starting from my freshman year either.. since i'll be about the right age anyway...

anyways... tomorrow is my nephew's first birthday.. so yeah.. birthday bash going on...  hmm i really want a new digicam... but oh well.. in no rush *cough*...

this coming wednesday i'll be going to Las Vegas til friday night.. bellagio.. cant wait.. i'll be staying at caesar's..
